Scholarship Awarded to Gabrielino High School Senior

Huntington Beach, California — (March 11 2015). At the March 10th San Gabriel Unified School District Board of Education meeting, Julio Vildoso was awarded a $10,000 college scholarship by PsomasFMG. PsomasFMG is currently designing and developing a 1.56 MW solar energy system for the District which will include Garielino High School.

Julio Vildoso, who will be attending Pomona College in the fall, was praised by Gabrielino High School Principal Sharron Heinrich as an outstanding student, a leader on campus and an inspiration to others. Ms. Heinrich went on to say “our school is not used to such generous scholarships awarded to our students,” and to thank PsomasFMG for helping out a deserving student.

PsomasFMG which will be constructing the solar energy system at four (4) District schools will save the District an estimated $6.5-$8 Million over the length of the agreement. PsomasFMG Vice President, Alex Smith, made it clear to the Board and all in attendance that PsomasFMG intends to create a partnership with San Gabriel USD in fulfilling their mission of educating all its students.
